Time to G.O.A.T kickoff event
It’s great that things are starting to open back up after COVID-19. I decided to take advantage of a local event called “Time to G.O.A.T (Get Out Around Town). It was like a block-wide happy hour with live music. In front of the Opera house, there was a live performance by Aziza Nailah and her band.

Which after the city shut down the street to vehicle traffic to kick off the summer’s first weekly curbside Wilmington Happy Hour by Downtown Visions. There was more live music from the Sunset Riders and music by DJ Chad spinning Nu Jazz& Soul on vinyl at The Knights Bar!
I really enjoyed Aziza’s show. After her set. We went down the block to the Knight’s bar. Sadly they weren’t serving any food I knew we weren’t going to stay long. It’s good that the city. Along with Gable Music Ventures and InWilm has teamed up to get people out of the house and downtown. Hopefully, people will embrace it and venture out and see what Wilmington has to offer.
